Features

The charting, scripting and order-flow tools inside AlertaChart

AlertaChart is a charting platform for crypto, stocks, forex, indices and futures that runs in the browser and as an app for iPhone, iPad and Android. This page walks through what it does, one area at a time, and says plainly which plan each part belongs to.

The Free plan already includes crypto charts, the standard indicators and every drawing tool. Starter, Trader, Pro and Elite add markets, higher limits and professional tools step by step, and each paid plan includes everything in the plans below it. Every section links to the Help Center guide that explains it in detail.

01

Charts, chart types and timeframes

Every plan · 10 and 30-second bars, custom timeframes and range bars from Starter · tick charts with Pro

The chart offers 13 styles: candles, bars, hollow candles, Heikin Ashi, line, area, baseline, columns, step line, line with markers, high-low, volume candles and HLC area. Every plan has 1, 5, 15 and 30-minute, 1, 2, 4 and 12-hour, daily, weekly and monthly bars; Starter adds 10 and 30-second bars and timeframes you define yourself.

Range bars (Starter) close only after the price has moved a set distance, and tick charts (Pro) close after a set number of trades, so busy and quiet periods stand apart. Both work on crypto pairs from Binance, Bybit, OKX and Coinbase. The price scale switches between automatic, logarithmic, percent and indexed-to-100 modes, and the time axis follows the time zone you choose, daylight-saving changes included.

How much history a chart loads depends on the plan: 2,500 bars on Free, 10,000 on Starter and Trader, 20,000 on Pro and 40,000 on Elite.

More than 90 drawing tools

Every plan, Free included

The drawing toolbar is arranged in seven groups: lines and channels with four kinds of pitchfork; Gann and Fibonacci tools; patterns such as XABCD, head and shoulders and Elliott waves; forecasting and measuring tools including long and short positions, anchored VWAP and volume profiles; shapes; text and notes; and icons. The same groups are on the desktop toolbar and in the mobile app.

A magnet snaps points to the open, high, low or close of the nearest bar, and each drawing can be shown only on the timeframes you pick — a weekly level can stay on the daily chart and disappear from the 1-minute one. You can also draw on indicator panels such as RSI or MACD. Drawings stay on the device you use; from the Trader plan they are saved to your account and follow you to your other devices.

Indicators, templates and Auto Analysis

Standard set on every plan · Pro set, indicators on indicators and Auto Analysis with Pro

Every plan has the standard set — RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Stochastic, VWAP with deviation bands, SuperTrend, moving averages and about a hundred classic technicals such as Ichimoku, ADX and Zig Zag. Each indicator has its own gear for periods, sources and colours, and the indicators on a chart can be saved as a template and applied to another chart in one click. The number of indicators per chart is 2 on Free, 5 on Starter, 10 on Trader, 25 on Pro and 50 on Elite.

Pro and Elite unlock AlertaChart's own indicators: Smart Money Concepts with order blocks, breaks of structure and fair value gaps, supply and demand zones, ICT killzones, Wyckoff, RSI divergences, Cipher B and more. Pro also brings indicators on indicators — a moving average of RSI, for example — automatic chart patterns, and Auto Analysis, which reads the candles on screen and draws support and resistance zones, Fibonacci levels and a volume profile.

AlertaScript: Pine-compatible indicators and strategies

From the Trader plan

AlertaScript is AlertaChart's language for your own indicators and strategies. It supports a broad Pine-compatible surface — namespaced calls such as ta.ema, collections, user-defined types and strategies — which makes it easier to bring existing scripts over; where a function still needs a change, the editor shows the exact line.

The editor is a window you can move while the chart stays visible. A script can plot lines, histograms and filled areas, draw labels, boxes and tables, offer settings that appear behind the indicator's gear, and raise alerts. A strategy script places simulated trades on past bars, and the Strategy tester reports total P&L, maximum drawdown, profit factor and every trade, lets you change the initial capital, commission and slippage without touching the code, and exports the report as a CSV file. Scripts can stay private or be published to the Community.

Price, technical and watchlist alerts

Every plan · alerts that keep working while the app is closed from Starter · technical, trendline and watchlist alerts with Pro

Right-click the chart at a price and choose "Set price alert", or press the bell next to the price scale: the alert is saved straight away and fires when the price crosses that level. The Alert button in the chart toolbar and the + in the Alerts panel open the alert window instead, where you choose the condition: crossing a price (up, down or either way), being above or below it, entering, exiting, staying inside or outside a channel, or moving by an amount or a percentage. In that window an alert can fire once or every time, carry a message and an expiry date, and reach you as an app notification, a sound or a pop-up; clicking a saved alert in the Alerts panel opens the same window to change it.

With a paid plan, alerts on Binance crypto markets, spot and perpetual, are watched around the clock and reach your phone even when AlertaChart is closed — though some Binance spot pairs, such as TRY pairs, are refreshed less often and may fire up to 30 minutes late. Alerts on stocks, forex, CME futures and other exchanges work while the app is open, and on Free every alert works while the app is open. The number of price alerts is 2 on Free, 20 on Starter, 100 on Trader, 400 on Pro and 1,000 on Elite. Pro adds technical alerts on RSI, MACD, Stochastic and other indicators, trendline alerts that follow a sloped line, watchlist alerts that apply one rule to a whole list, "Add alert" on each watchlist row, and delivery to a webhook.

Order flow: footprint, CVD, open interest, funding and liquidations

Pro and Elite

Candles show where the price went; the order-flow tools show who pushed it. The toolbox adds CVD (cumulative volume delta), net position, funding, open interest, bubbles for large trades and a liquidation heatmap to crypto perpetual charts. The footprint splits each candle into price rows with their buying and selling volume, outlines the busiest price and marks imbalances; it works on 1-minute to 4-hour charts of the most traded Binance markets and, like CVD, on spot markets too.

The order book heatmap draws resting limit orders over time, so you can see where walls stood and whether they were pulled or traded through; it is recorded for the most traded Binance USDT perpetuals and the spot pairs of the same coins. Five aggregated panels add up CVD, open interest, funding, net longs and shorts, and liquidations across the exchanges that publish them — Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase and Hyperliquid. The Liquidations and Funding panels, the Level 2 order book and AGGR, a live tape of trades from several exchanges, complete the set.

Multi-chart layouts and saved layouts

Several charts from Starter · saved layouts from Trader

There are 49 layouts, from two charts side by side to a grid of 16. How many charts you see at once depends on the plan: 1 on Free, 2 on Starter, 4 on Trader, 8 on Pro and 16 on Elite. Each chart keeps its own symbol, timeframe, chart type and indicators, and charts can be linked by symbol, timeframe and crosshair; charts showing the same symbol share their drawings. That makes a top-down view easy: one coin on weekly, daily, 4-hour and 1-hour charts with the crosshair moving across all four.

From the Trader plan a saved layout remembers the whole screen — the grid, each chart's symbol and timeframe, the indicators and their settings, the time zone and the links — and opens again without reloading the page. Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on a Mac) saves it, and saved layouts follow your account to your other computers.

Bar Replay and Alerta Practice

Bar Replay from Starter · Alerta Practice with Pro and Elite

Bar Replay rewinds the chart to a bar you choose and hides everything after it. You then step forward one bar at a time or let it play, mark entries, stops and targets with the long and short position tools, and change the timeframe to see the bigger picture — practice without hindsight.

Alerta Practice is a paper-trading account on live prices. It starts with 100,000 virtual dollars and supports market, limit and stop orders, long and short positions with leverage, and take-profit and stop-loss levels you can drag on the chart. Take profit, stop loss and liquidation are handled even while AlertaChart is closed. Results are simulated and leave out some costs of real trading, such as slippage in fast markets, and the account can be reset at any time.

One watchlist for every market

Every plan · several lists and unlimited symbols from Starter · formula rows and sync across devices from Trader

Crypto, stocks, forex, indices and futures sit side by side in one watchlist, and a click opens a row on the chart. The spot market and the perpetual contract of a coin are separate rows — BTC USDT and BTC USDT.P — so an alert on one never fires for the other. Rows can be dragged into order, sorted by price, volume or change, starred, exported to a file and imported again.

The number of lists is 1 on Free, 3 on Starter, 5 on Trader, 10 on Pro and 25 on Elite; the Free list holds up to 10 symbols, and every paid plan allows unlimited symbols per list. From Trader a row can also be a formula such as BTCUSDT/ETHUSDT, and your lists are saved to your account. On a computer, the panel under the list shows the selected symbol's day and 52-week ranges, its performance from one week to one year, a seasonality chart and a daily technical rating.

Crypto, stocks, forex and CME futures

Crypto on every plan · stocks, forex and CME futures from Trader

Crypto markets come from Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase and Hyperliquid, spot and perpetual where the exchange offers them — 1,200+ crypto assets in one search. Crypto indices such as total market capitalisation (TOTAL) and Bitcoin dominance (BTC.D) open as charts like any other symbol.

From the Trader plan the same tools cover shares listed in the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen, around fifty forex pairs from the majors to USD/TRY and EUR/TRY, and 33 continuous CME Group futures, from Bitcoin and the E-mini S&P 500 to gold, crude oil and US Treasuries. Stock markets and futures follow their trading hours, while forex trades around the clock on weekdays.

Plans

Free covers crypto charts, the standard indicators and every drawing tool. Starter removes ads and adds alerts that work while the app is closed, Bar Replay and second-based timeframes. Trader adds stocks, forex and CME futures, AlertaScript and the strategy tester, saved layouts and sync across devices. Pro adds the order-flow suite, the Pro indicators, Auto Analysis, the Pro alert types and Alerta Practice, and Elite raises every limit to the highest level.

Each paid plan can be paid monthly or yearly — on the web, in the App Store or on Google Play. Current prices are on the Pricing page.
