Live news

The news feed shows market headlines and economic releases as they happen. Headlines arrive in English and appear in the language you use AlertaChart in; Original, next to the feed's title, switches back to the text as written, and your choice is kept. Translations appear within seconds, and a headline that cannot be translated yet is tried again shortly after.

Discover (Trader and higher)

Discover gives you a bird's-eye view of the crypto market:

• Market breadth: how many coins are rising, falling or flat, with the median and the volume-weighted change
• Top movers: the biggest gainers and losers
• Most traded: the coins with the most turnover in the last 24 hours and their share of the total
• 24-hour highs and lows: busy coins trading close to their high or low of the last 24 hours
• Moving-average health: how many coins are above their 50-period average
• Overbought and oversold distribution
• Unusual volume: coins trading far above their 30-day average
• Screener: every pair, filtered and sorted on any column, from the 24-hour figures to the daily technicals (see The screener below)
• Heatmap: every pair as a tile, sized by 24h turnover and coloured by the 24h change or the distance from the 50-day average; zoom with the wheel, a pinch or the + and − buttons, drag to move around and reset to see the whole market; on a phone, hold a tile to see its card; tap a tile to open its chart

The screener

• Conditions on any column: greater or less than a value, between two values, above or below another level (the price above its 200-day average), or crossed up or down on the current candle (a golden cross, MACD crossing its signal)
• Sixteen ready-made screens, live (volume spikes, the day's high or low) and technical (oversold, uptrend, golden cross, Bollinger squeeze, the 52-week or all-time high, the month's leaders)
• Columns: the Overview, Performance, Oscillators, Trend and Volatility sets, or your own mix of up to ten; tap a heading to sort
• Sectors: themes such as meme coins, AI or layer 1 narrow the list to the coins of one sector
• Saved screens: name a screen to keep its conditions, columns and sort, and pick it again from the screen list
• CSV: export every matching pair with its columns; numbers are written the way your language writes them, so a spreadsheet reads them as numbers
• Timeframes: RSI, Stoch RSI, MACD, momentum, the moving averages, the Bollinger and Keltner bands and ATR can be read on 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day, 1 week or 1 month. The Timeframe filter moves every such column and condition at once, and ready-made screens open on it; a condition can also keep its own (RSI on 1 hour below 30 while the price stays above the 200-day average). Every timeframe uses its closed candles in UTC, weeks starting on Monday, with the forming candle following the live price; when a new candle opens, the last values stay on screen for the minute the new ones take to arrive. Performance, the 52-week range and the all-time high stay daily
• Daily values follow UTC days: RSI, Stoch RSI, MACD, the moving averages, the Bollinger and Keltner bands, ATR and the performance columns use each day's close up to yesterday, with today's candle following the live price, as the chart computes them. The all-time high is the highest daily high on Binance since the pair was listed; a pair whose full history is not on record shows a dash
