Community: ideas, scripts and opinions

The Community is where AlertaChart users share what they see in the markets. You can read it without posting, or publish your own ideas and scripts.

What you will find

• Ideas: chart analyses with a snapshot of the chart and the author's explanation
• Scripts: indicators and strategies written in AlertaScript, ready to install
• Opinions: short text posts about the market

Browse by Popular, Editors' picks, For you, Following and Recent, or filter by market and category.

Publishing an idea

Press the Publish button on the chart. A snapshot of the current chart is attached to your post; add a title and your explanation, then choose the market and category. Your own drawings, scripts and workspace are not shared — only the picture of the chart you publish.

Publishing a script

From the AlertaScript editor, press Publish. Choose a licence, write a description and decide who can see it. You can publish updates later, and people who installed it can move to the new version.

Installing a script

Open a script and press Install. It is added to My scripts, switched off, so you can look at it first. If you have changed an installed script yourself, an update will not overwrite your changes without asking.

Following and interacting

Follow authors to see their new posts, like, comment and bookmark posts, and subscribe to scripts to hear about updates. Your profile shows your posts and followers.

Keeping it useful

Report posts that break the rules; moderators review every report. Posts are opinions of their authors and are not investment advice.
