Your account: sign-in, devices, language and privacy

Your account keeps your plan and your data together and lets you control where you are signed in. On a computer, open Settings from the account menu at the top left; on a phone, with the gear on the My Account tab. Settings is grouped into pages, from Profile, Sign-in and security and Active sessions to My plan, notifications, and language and theme.

Signing in

AlertaChart uses Google and Apple sign-in, so there is no separate password to remember. Use the same account on every device; your plan and your saved data belong to that account.

Devices and sessions

Settings → Active sessions lists the devices where you are signed in. You can end a single session — for example on a computer you no longer use — or sign out everywhere at once. The next time that device is used, it will ask for a new sign-in.

Language

AlertaChart is available in 23 languages. Choose yours in Settings, or from Language in the account menu on a computer; the charts, menus, help and news translation all follow it.

Theme

Pick the light or the dark theme in Settings, or switch Dark theme on or off in the account menu on a computer. Outside the mobile apps, System theme follows your device's light or dark setting. The chart and every panel change with it.

Notifications

Choose the automatic notifications you want: the market summary twice a day, the US market open, automatic alerts for major coins and new exchange listings (the last two from Starter up). Your phone's own settings must also allow notifications for AlertaChart.

Your data on other devices

Your watchlists are kept with your account on every paid plan, and your drawings, scripts and saved layouts from the Trader plan. On Free everything stays on each device, and on Starter so do drawings, scripts and layouts; clearing the browser's data or uninstalling the app removes them from that device.

Privacy

The eye in the account menu and on Settings → Profile hides your name, e-mail and account number behind ****, handy when you share your screen; the device remembers it. On the website you choose the cookies: Necessary only, Accept all, or your own pick under Preferences. Analytics and advertising tags load only once you allow them, and Cookie preferences, at the bottom of the site and in Settings, changes your choice at any time. The mobile apps do not ask.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account under Settings → Sign-in and security. This removes your profile and saved data. It does not cancel a store subscription on its own — cancel it in the App Store, Google Play or the web customer portal first.
