When TradingView is the better choice

AlertaChart is built around crypto order flow, alerts and scripts. Choose TradingView if one of these matters more to you:

Many more markets

TradingView says it connects to more than 3.5 million instruments from exchanges worldwide. AlertaChart covers crypto on five exchanges, stocks from the US, the UK, Hong Kong and mainland China, about fifty forex pairs and 33 CME futures.

A much larger script library

TradingView lists more than 100,000 community indicators written in Pine Script®. AlertaChart has its own language, AlertaScript, and a smaller community library; a Pine script may need changes before it runs here.

Trading through a broker

TradingView lets you trade through selected brokers from the chart and from its Depth of Market. AlertaChart has no broker trading: Alerta Practice (Pro) trades a virtual balance.

Alerts that run with the app closed, on every plan

TradingView alerts run on its servers on every plan, Basic included, and every plan gets push notifications. AlertaChart watches alerts with the app closed only on paid plans; every alert on Free works while AlertaChart is open.

How TradingView alerts work

Company research

TradingView adds financial statements on the chart, global economic data and screeners for stocks, ETFs, DEX pairs and crypto.

A larger free plan

TradingView Basic loads 5,000 historical bars and keeps 3 price alerts that run on its servers. AlertaChart Free loads 2,500 bars and 2 alerts that work while the app is open.

Where AlertaChart is different

What AlertaChart is built around — the parts the plan table does not show:

Order flow across five exchanges

Five aggregated panels — CVD, open interest, funding, net long/short and liquidations — add up a coin’s order flow on Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase and Hyperliquid, each counting the exchanges that publish that data. They sit next to the footprint, trade bubbles and liquidation heatmap. Pro and Elite.

Aggregated order flow

Notifications for crypto markets

Pro adds funding-rate and volume-spike alerts in Settings and, on mobile, a notification for every single liquidation of 1 million dollars or more. From Starter, you hear about new listings on Binance, Bybit, Coinbase and Upbit the moment they are announced.

How alerts work

Scripts that read order flow

AlertaScript is AlertaChart’s language for indicators and strategies (on every plan), with a strategy tester. With Pro, a script can read funding, open interest, CVD, net longs and shorts and liquidations as series — for one exchange or all of them, such as AGG:BTC.P_OI.

AlertaScript

The same limits for less

From Starter up, charts per tab, indicators per chart, price alerts and history match the TradingView plan at the same level, for a lower monthly price — Pro is ~$40.01 a month, Premium $69.95. TradingView includes technical alerts earlier, from Essential.

Other TradingView alternatives, and who they suit

AlertaChart is not the only TradingView alternative. These are the platforms most often named next to it and what each is built for, as their own sites described them on October 19, 2026. Check each one before you choose.

Where AlertaChart fits

Crypto order flow next to the chart, Pine-style AlertaScript, crypto, stocks, forex and CME futures in one watchlist, and the same chart and indicator limits as TradingView's plans for less — on the web, iPhone, iPad and Android. It covers fewer markets than TradingView and does not place trades through a broker.

Questions, answered

Can I use AlertaChart for free?

Yes. You can start with free crypto charts. Advanced features, additional markets and usage limits depend on your plan; the pricing page shows the current details.

Can I use my TradingView scripts unchanged?

Do not assume a direct transfer. AlertaChart uses AlertaScript, while TradingView uses Pine Script®. Compatibility depends on the functions and features in the script. Check our reference, adapt where necessary and verify the output.

Will prices and history match TradingView?

They can differ by exchange, contract, session, provider and available history. Select the same instrument and interval when comparing charts, and check the feed details. AlertaChart does not promise identical data across platforms.
