3U Holding AG is an operating management and investment holding company. It operates through the following segments: Information and Telecommunications Technology (ITC); Renewable Energies; and Sanitary, Heating, and Air Conditioning Technology (SHAC). The ITC segment provides transmission network and switching technology, as well as services related to its data centers. This segment also includes sales from the distribution and operation of cloud-based CRM and ERP solutions as well as from the IT licensing business. The Renewable Energies segment involves the planning and development of projects in the area of renewable energies as well as with the production of electricity with plants. The SHAC segment is engaged in marketing of products from the sanitary, heating and climatisation technology, as well as from the assembly of components for building air conditioning. The company was founded by Udo Graul, Manfred Schwarz, Michael Schmidt, and Roland Thieme on August 26, 1997 and is headquartered in Marburg, Germany.
