ASTI CORP. engages in the manufacture and sale of electrical devices and components for automobile and other vehicles, home appliances, communications and control equipment. It operates through the following business divisions: Automotive Electrical Equipment, Consumer Industrial Equipment, and Wire Harnesses. The Automotive Electrical Equipment segment manufacture various electronic control units, air conditioning control systems, corner sensors, battery chargers, etc. The Consumer Industrial Equipment segment manufactures electronic control boards for washing machines and dishwashers, communication switch units, industrial robot controller boards, etc. The Wire Harnesses manufactures wire harnesses for four-wheel and two-wheel vehicles, wire harnesses for ships, etc. The company was founded by Kenyu Asamoto on May 10, 1963 and is headquartered in Hamamatsu, Japan.
