Wang On Group Ltd. is an investment holding company, which engages in property development and investment, management and sub-licensing of fresh markets, and pharmaceutical business. It operates through the following segments: Property Development, Property Investment, Fresh Markets, Pharmaceutical, and Treasury Management. The Property Development segment engages in the development of properties. The Property Investment segment includes the investment and trading of industrial and commercial premises and residential units for rental or for sale. The Fresh Markets segment is involved in the management and sub-licensing of fresh markets. The Pharmaceutical segment relates to the production and sale of pharmaceutical and health food products. The Treasury Management segment offers finance and investments in debt and other securities which earn interest income. The company was founded by Ching Ho Tang and Yuk Yin Yau on November 25, 1993 and is headquartered in Hong Kong.
